Concrete Polishing

   Polished concrete is quickly becoming the newest trend in the decorative concrete industry. Existing or new concrete is ground down using coarse grit diamond pads and the grit is progressively increased (smoother pads) over each pass. After numerous passes, the concrete floor’s aggregate is exposed and the surface is so finely polished, it actually has a mirror-like shine. With the use of concrete densifiers and colored dyes, we can produce a floor with a terrazzo like appearance. Add scored lines with a colored grout and we can give you the appearance of 3’ terrazzo tiles. Another high priced look at a fraction of the price. Polished concrete is particularly appealing to customers because of its extreme durability and very low maintenance.
